Vanessa, our founder, established Selah’s Safe Way during the COVID-19 era when she realized what was truly important. She was at a crossroads where God was telling her to leave her career in sales and whole-heartedly fully immerse herself in the pursuit of showing children how wonderful they indeed are-no matter their background.

Vanessa has always had a heart for children, and being a survivor of sexual assault herself, she felt ties to the missions of healing on all planes-body, mind, and spirit. We know that paths to healing look different for everybody.

However, Vanessa believes that three pillars can help overcome any obstacle: our connectedness with God, our attitude, and our willingness to grow. With this philosophy, she moves forward with her vision of creating future generations that feel happy, healthy, and whole – as God created them to be.
